- Discussion 2 (4/13/08-4/16/08): Chapters 7-13, Pages 136-260
- Final Discussion & Wrap-Up (4/17/08): Chapters 14-19, Pages 261-351
Note: We’re a small, but growing bookclub looking for more new readers. Referrals are encouraged – and may qualify for future giveaways. Know any interested readers? Send them our direction!
I just finished the first portion. Has anyone else?
What do you think? Is it as complicated for you as it is for me? Not a fast read, at least not for me. But I am having a hard time putting it down. Mitch is out of town tonight, so I might just read some more and see what happens next.
Becca
@Becca – With Spring Break going on in my house, I’m an extremely SLOW reader this week. Although, I must admit that this time I have the audio along with the book – but the audio is much slower than I actually read. I really do think having the audio is keeping me focused though, because Wolitzer seems to digress like crazy in her writing. Otherwise, I might have put the book down much earlier. (I’m on page 71 tonight.)
I’ll be up to the halfway point tomorrow… knock on wood. It’s good, but a very slow one this time around for many reasons.
