Handle with Care
Now let’s welcome Jodi Picoult, our newest Chicken Lit Bookclub author. Picoult’s deep history of highly acclaimed, bestselling novel-writing leaves us with high hopes that this new release will not disappoint. Will she turn us into lifelong fans? Is this the page turner we’ve been long awaiting? High expectations once again!
This book has 477 total pages divided into a Prologue and 4 Parts. Here’s our (tentative) timeline:
- Discussion 1 (4/01/09-4/02/09): Pages 1-194 – Prologue, Parts I & II
- Discussion 2 & Final Wrap-Up (4/12/09-4/13/09): Pages 195-477, Parts III & IV

@All – I made it to the end of Part II today. Will be posting discussion questions very soon! This is a real tough story… tugs on the heart like crazy.
Currently on p. 284. Spring break coming up this week with lots of activities planned, but I’ll try to keep up!

Finally, I just finished reading the second part. Wow – it’s so good I can hardly quit reading! So keep an eye out for our second discussion… coming very soon.
I am about to finish it. I have to go reread the last person’s part to be sure I actually read it right. I read it late last night and want to be sure. It is that good a book.
I’m going to combine the next 2 discussions into one, that way we can both just finish the book and chat about it all. I think we’re the only readers in on this book, so I don’t expect any problems with lumping the rest.
No spoilers… can’t wait to finish and find out what happens!

I have to say that I love the recipes. I don’t bake because I suck at it, but they sound so good
I finished the book. I am ready to talk whenever you finish. No rush. 🙂
Ok – I’m going to finish it by Sunday *fingers crossed*. Timeline has been updated, so we can start thinking about #34 now, too. Got several books waiting for us… decisions, decisions!
