The Friday Night Knitting Club
We’re going all wild and crazy by adding new authors left and right lately, aren’t we? After having so much good luck in doing so, why not? Ok then! And with that opener we welcome Kate Jacobs as our newest in hopes that she will capture our interest with her bestselling ‘Knitting Club‘ series.
This novel is longer than our recent bookclub reads with 36 chapters in 360 total pages. Our 3 discussions will be posted using this (tentative) timeline:
- Discussion 1 (12/26/08-12/27/08): Pages 1-148, Chapters 1-10
- Discussion 2 (12/30/08-12/31/08): Pages 149-246, Chapters 11-21
- Discussion 3 & Final Wrap-Up (12/31/08-01/01/09): Pages 247-360, Chapters 22-36
On a side note – how many of our bookclub members knit, anyway?

BTW: I can knit a square… ok, well my mom taught me back when I was in grade school. So even that’s questionable at this point in time. lol

And…thanks to a wonderful gift from Dory, I have ordered Knit 2 for the sequel, even if we don’t read it, I will have it on my IPod! Woohoo!

I got a notice today that my book has shipped out so hopefully I’ll get it QUICKLY! I’m going to go ahead and order Knit 2 …. I think I’ll need it. 🙂
